My friend Megan is becoming a librarian of the HOT kind; she is giving the gift of free, public reading to the world of local Boise, Idaho. I think she would appreciate this. I know I would love to read a few things here. This is Michelangelo's Laurentian Library in San Lorenzo, Florence, Italy. Each desk has at its end a list of which books are available in Philosophy, Mythology, Theology, Medicine, and so on. Seems to have been very efficient.
Not designed by Michelangelo but decidely very cool and just one of the reasons to live in Europe...a library in the Metro stocked with more heavy reading than the average Harlequin.
